Project types included office, light industrial, hospitality, senior living, retail, multi-family, and healthcare.
In addition to the above, for 14 years Bob taught the capstone course in the Construction Management program at California State University, Sacramento, and in 2005 he represented the California State Contractors License Board on a national panel working on the development of a national contractors’ license exam.
Bob has served on a number of community organizations over the years including the boards of the Associated General Contractors of California at both the state and local levels and was honored with the “Construction Education Friend” award by the Associated General Contractors of California in 2006. He was a co-founder and previously served on the executive committee of the Sacramento Construction Management Education Foundation, is a recent past Chair of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation and the Advisory Board for the Salvation Army, and currently serves as the Board Chair for Sierra Forever Families. He is a member of Lambda Alpha, the land honorary society, and he chaired the successful $7 million Comprehensive Capital Campaign for Sierra Adoption Services (now Sierra Forever Families). He was awarded the 2006 Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser by the California Capital Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Trainor Fairbrook 2006 Humanitarian of the Year, and was elected to the 2007 Sacramento Business Hall of Fame by Junior Achievement. He and his wife, Nancy, are the proud parents of two adult children, Kinsley and Conner, and the proud grandparents of three lovely granddaughters.
